Lift Your Spirit

This was one of the first songs I learned when I first accepted Jesus as Savior. It was the theme song to an ol’ time preacher’s radio broadcast. I would blast it in my bedroom every Sunday morning as I prepared my heart to receive the day’s Message from the pulpit.

Every time I sing this song, it just sets my heart on a memory walk back to that era in my life as a new Believer. Can you recall how fired up and undaunted you were? Are you still on fire for the Lord with that same intensity?

If you feel like things aren’t quite as passionate, let a freshness fall upon you right here, right now, Sister. Let your heart proclaim how GREAT GOD is and let the whole world rejoice with you!

May you step into or wind down your day refreshed as when you first met Jesus.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~~

  1. So desperately needed that encouragement this morning….Thanksgiving was hard. We always host and have a house full of family and loved ones, this Covid year no one. My heart has been so sad and lonely.
But I know and trust that Our Great God will fill my void with His love and grace. ❤️

    1. Sharon: If I could wrap my arms around you (((HUGS))) — this is what I would do.
I feel your pain, as our house was also ‘quiet,’ missing the usual joyful noise.
But YES, Sister, our GOD covers and comforts us over and through all of that.
      He does not go silent.
