The Goodness of GOD has never depended on me … oh, HALLELUJAH!
Seriously, that has just got to be the best news you’ve heard today, Sweet Friend. GOD is good all the time — even before we knew Him. Before we had a relationship with Him. Before we understood that we are His Daughters. GOD has always been, always will be and is now — Good.
He is Eternal. This means He has no beginning nor end. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. The Alpha and Omega. So, if you’re in a rough season, please consider this: it is a season. And you are not defined by it. This moment, no matter how bad or ugly it may look, is not your forever. If you know Jesus, He is your forever. Your now is temporary, my Friend. Our circumstances were different yesteryear, from what they look like today. And no doubt, they will look different this time next year. It’s what we do with our today — that is what will impact our tomorrow.
Since GOD is Eternal, He has already gone to the end of your journey. That being said, He knows how it will end. What we need to do is hold on to His Hand for dear life as we walk through that journey. Nothing we do will change the way He loves on us as we walk with Him. But we have to keep walking with Him — no matter what. We won’t walk it out perfectly. Not to worry, Jesus has our front, back and sides. He’ll dust off the dirt when we fall on our faces, and even heal the scrapes and bruises when we fall.
Keep this in your heart, my Sweet Friend, there will be days where all we have to offer is a ‘hallelujah’. And you know what? He smiles at us and receives it.
