I am always speechless when I stop to consider the magnitude of the love of Jesus for all humanity. And then when consider that even if I were the only person on the earth, He would have gone to the cross anyway. Whew! That’s a really tough concept to wrap my finite mind around.
Jesus was before the world began, so we know that He was before we were even a thought. He knew about all the sins we would intentionally commit. Fully aware of how long it would take us to do a 180-degree turn with sincere repentance, He still chose to go to the cross.
There are no words fitting for that. Jesus drops the mic on love..
Pause to think about that for a moment, will you?
We are easily angered at the accidental wrongs done against us – but when someone intentionally goes out of their way to conspire to do us harm (doesn’t matter to what degree of severity), we are swift to take the first swing back and to hold the destructive grudge into the years that follow without a second thought.
But GOD …
He sees us in the way He designed us. In spite of ourselves. How many times have we come up red-faced after doing things that we are too embarrassed to admit, much less look hard into the mirror and be able to confidently say, “you are worth dying for …?”
Come and spend a few minutes in a worshipful pause – right where you are. Or go to a secluded spot and just be still in the presence of your Lord and Savior, your Friend, Jesus.

I lead a meeting on this yesterday! On forgiveness. I said a well known line is “father forgive them for they know not what they do.” Most of the time they do not know but sometimes they do. Even an intentional hurt we must forgive to be more like Jesus. I will now listen to the worship. Sent from my T-Mobile 5G Device
