Lift Your Spirit – “Been So Good”

⁸ Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
⁹ For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness. Psalm 107:8-9 NKJV

If you’re anything like me, saying “Thank You, GOD,” just seems so inadequate for the King of Kings. And yet, throughout the Bible, those whose lives were transformed by the very GOD they came to know, love and worship, uttered the same precious and simple words.

Has He been good to you, Friend? Let Him hear your praise. Did you awaken to the same problems you had yesterday? Rejoice that He gave you another day to walk through them with Him. Have you been praying really hard (I mean really, really hard) for something and it still hasn’t happened? Consider yourself blessed that GOD trusts you with that precious dream, because through it you are drawing closer to Him. Does your heart ache with a longing for wholeness and restoration because you’ve had a handful of rough patches in life that just feel irreparable? Take all those shattered pieces and place them in the Hand of the One Who can resurrect them and breathe new life into them.

We often feel as though life could be so much better from what it looks like at this very moment. And maybe it could. And maybe we need to just pause and redirect our focus where it truly needs to be – where unheard of and crazy things happen – those things called ‘miracles’ happen there. Look up, Sweet Friend.

He gave us breath to inhale a new day.

Let’s start there.
