Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 NIV
Rejection. Abandonment. Shame. Guilt. Fear.
I will take the pressure off of you right here, right now. These words have been in my shadow throughout the years. If you can tap your screen with a high-five (save the fist-bump for a pillow – it’s less expensive to replace), I receive it, Sweet Friend. And I am sorry you’ve been there. I know it hurts. If you’re there now, please stay with me for a bit longer.
As women, we have a history of not shying away from opening up about some of our wounds. And that’s actually in our favor. Being able to release the pressure from the suppressed pain of hidden hurts is so relieving to the soul. Can you relate? If you cannot relate to the exhalation of a long awaited held-in breath, Sister, you need to find a trusted friend with whom you can unload safely. We were meant to do life together. In community is where we thrive, not in isolation.
The variables are many and our unique personalities add to the complexity of our experiences. Bottom line is that these things are not from GOD. These negative labels do not accurately define who we are. The echoes of words spoken over us by those whom we should have been able to trust that contradicted GOD’s Word are not intended for us to live by. We can take a step towards wholeness by refusing to live under the choke-hold of rejection by mankind by replacing it with the love of GOD in Christ. This is true acceptance – forever. No fairytale stuff here. The real deal.
We can only learn more about what our Heavenly Father planned for us when we learn what His Will truly is. And that can only be found directly in His Word. His Written Word, the Bible, speaks to us of how He feels about us, wants to bless us, desires the very best for us. His Living Word, Jesus, exampled for us the lifestyle that was blueprinted for us in ink – GOD has no margin of error; He owns no erasers. Jesus lived what the Father spoke. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us – turning our focus back to Him, because let’s face it, this fallen world is distracting.
Come listen to this conversation of godly women who desire that all women come to the realization of their true value. Jesus said we were worth dying for. And with that, He said it is finished. No other work needed. There’s nothing for you to do, earn, perform or produce to be loved by Him. Just receive it.
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~

Oh how good it is to admit we are hurting, and to tell our stories! I am grieving. It’s healthy for me to cry to God, to help comfort me in a time of loss. I have never done that before. You know the old saying when one door closes many others will open. The Lord has moved me in a new direction. Sometimes rejection is God’s protection. ❤️Sent from my T-Mobile 5G Device

That’s a good talk to watch. I’ve never thought of myself as a people pleaser. I was more of a people displeaser! Lol. And I certainly didn’t care what God thought, obviously. Listening to these ladies and being aware that my Christianity is new, I think in a way I think by pleasing people serving people, is also pleasing God. I’m going to need to balance this. For now my friend I have to wear the robe of righteousness. If whatever I’m doing or thinking does not coincide with God’s word, I better not do it. Best to be obedient and follow the path Jesus took. I know I will have my slips and that’s okay. I’m growing. Sent from my T-Mobile 5G Device
