Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence? Psalm 139:7 ESV
5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Joshua 1:5 NIV
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 ESV
When we worry we open the door for our circumstances to invade our space. These circumstances that we physically see and experience on a daily basis – they just keep changing their appearance. What we panicked over today will fade and a new distraction will greet us in the morning.
What if we paused long enough to remember that GOD is still on the Throne and nothing gets passed Him? There is nothing new to GOD. Nothing takes Him by surprise. GOD doesn’t say, “Oh, now let’s see what we’re going to do about this ‘n’ that.” GOD is Eternal. His thoughts are far beyond our imagination can soar. We think we can ‘go there,’ but we can’t even get close to dreaming the depth and breadth of GOD’s reach.
If we truly recited these Scripture verses to ourselves the very moment those crazy thoughts start to rob us of peace, there would be a piercing of that darkness with the Light of Life. Truth has a Name: Jesus. Peace has a Name: Jesus. He is the very essence of these sought-after treasures. We need to go straight to Him.
He is there, Sweet Friend. Right there in the room with you – with me. He promises never to leave you. If you have a relationship with Him, you can experience that confidence in real time. You can believe and trust in that fact.
Preach to yourself and tell that precious one you see in the mirror that GOD Almighty is deeply devoted to her and will not let her do life alone. He’s in the room.
Get up on your feet in praise. Then get down on your knees in gratitude. It’s one breath at a time, one day at a time. Jesus is in the room and He has all the time you need.
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
