“What Do You Believe About GOD?” ~ Therapy and Theology

15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the Son of the living God.” 17 Then Jesus answered him, “Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, favored by God] are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood (mortal man) did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 16:15-17 Amplified

It’s so easy to say that ‘GOD is good’ when things are going as we had hoped. In fact, I’ve noticed how people respond when asked how they’re doing, ‘GOD is so faithful.’ And not that those words are not true, however, if the outcome of your trials are not favorable in your eyes, are you still apt to declare His faithfulness? Will you still believe that He is still good ~ to you?

I hone in on this topic today because it is every bit important in the self-examination of our souls. How we perceive GOD should not be limited to the way we view our circumstances. GOD is above and beyond our immediate daily activity, while He is every bit involved in the orchestration and control of all of that.

This may be going ‘deep’ for those who are not accustomed to the disciplines of growing their faith. However, if your love for GOD is above all things, you will want to explore this and learn where you may want to pursue further understanding.

Come and join me at the table to listen, learn and receive from those who have done the hard work of studying and research to be able to bring the complex to a level of comprehension that we are able to embrace. You are free to hit the replay as often as you need to ~ I did.

Grab something to take notes and soak up this valuable conversation that will speak truth into your space. You will be glad you did. More than anything, you will thank GOD for Who He is at the end of it all.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
