But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you.

Worth. Value. Meaningfulness. Significance.
Words, that for some, are difficult to utter ~ because they seem to have no place in the vocabulary of self-description.
Life can do that for a woman. The harshness of circumstances ~ including the people involved in them ~ the reality of the cruelty of mankind can do some devastating damage. Some of us are bear the scars of wounds that are still healing. If you’re reading this and that is you, I am so, so sorry you’ve lived through your mess.
When we’re uncovered and exposed to unthinkable situations, it can be a difficult journey, not to mention the hard road back to renewal. Jesus laid His own life out there to be our covering so that we wouldn’t have to live this earthly life doomed by the tyranny of our poor decisions or the decisions that were made for us or as the result of wrong things done to us. Surrender gives us the grace to be covered. Grace allows for us to begin to heal. Healing not as the world heals, but as only GOD can heal.
GOD the Father loves us that much. He is in love with us. He adores us and wants us to know that the reality we may be seeing isn’t anything in comparison to how He desires us to live. However, He does want us to live as though we believe His Word and that means living from a place of love, peace and wholeness. That’s an amazing place to be, considering the craziness and chaos of this world.
Lisa Harper reaches out to each one of us to remind us of the incomprehensible depth of GOD’s love for us. And I invite you to sit with me for a bit and lean in to receive this gospel truth. And if you’ve found it impossible to say you’re worthy, valuable, meaningful or significant, let Lisa prove to you through what GOD has already said about you.
GOD says He sees you: where you’ve been, who you’ve been with and what you’ve done. And still loves you. GOD says He knows: how you’ve lived, your wrong-way thoughts, the shameful activities you’ve willingly participated in. And continues to love you. GOD says that if we are willing to abandon ourselves to His loving care, He won’t let us go. There is no measurement to the height, depth and breadth of His love for you ~ and nothing will change that. He will even give you the strength to walk in the right direction towards Him and live according to the way you were meant to live: from a place of love and victory.
Because you’re Daddy’s Girl. His Girl. And He will defend you, protect you, provide for you, and empower you to live accordingly. How can you turn away from this kind of love?
Sweet Friend, you are seen, known and loved beyond your wildest imagination. And there’s nothing that He would rather do than to spend time with you revealing that to you. You are His. And He is yours.
