Lift Your Spirit – “Trust In GOD”

but when in their distress they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought him, he was found by them.2 Chronicles 15:4 ESV

I am sure by now, the end of this first week of the new year, that you’ve heard as many new year stories, recommendations, suggestions … read articles, listened to podcasts, watched shows … all offering a better way to live your life. And I don’t doubt that many of those are intriguing, innovative and very creative.

Let’s get real for a moment here, Sweet Friend. If any of what you’re listening to, staring at, focusing in on, paying attention to, subscribing to, or even contributing to … is anything less than perfect and flawless, you have no business getting involved. You’ll only be back to not only square one, but possibly set back further than where you started.

Who has time for that?

You may be asking where do you go to find the perfect solution to life’s issues ~ when we’re all just really perfectly imperfect. And you are so right! Many of the so-called perfect remedies and answers to the toughest problems – if they’re created by someone who ever reaches for an eraser, they’re just repackaged or reframed to look different (than they appeared last year).

I’ve come the point in my life that I’ve realized that to put all my trust in another human being for the deep things, the impossible things, the out-of-this-world things … well, I am usually sorely disappointed. I just have to go the only One who can touch those places. I go The Master Creator, GOD Himself. I don’t want to settle for anything or anyone less. I want assurance that things concerning my welfare are secure without fear of failure or regret.

I respect your time because I respect you. Come and listen to this old favorite worship and praise song. If you need to take this moment to recommit your life to the Lord, this is that sacred moment. The mere fact that the thought has entered your mind is reason enough to know this is your moment with Jesus. Don’t delay. He’s already here waiting for you.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20 ESV

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
