If you’re a prayerful person, you’ll nod your head to lyrics of this worship song. But if life has been going sideways and chaos seems to find you at every turn, it’s very possible that you’re tempted to run to everything and everyone else for relief or resolution. That’s the temptation in all battlefields. And we all know that we ultimately come up for air dissatisfied and sorely disappointed.
It is my heart’s desire, Sweet Friend, that you’ll not run away but run to ~ and run hard into ~ the Arms of the One Who is waiting for you to just unload it all onto Him. Even if you just collapse. Jesus sees your struggle. He knows your pain. He is well aware of how long you’ve been in the trenches. Surrender it all to Him, right here, right now. He doesn’t judge you nor condemn you. Instead, He welcomes you with open Arms.
Jesus beckons you to unpack your heavy heart. In fact, He longs to hear your voice on a daily basis ~ even if it’s to say the same prayer about the same situation, over and over again. He never tires of hearing from you. I think that’s pretty awesome.
Give it up to Him to handle ~ all of it. And believe that He’s got your best interest at heart. Keep your confidence in Him, Friend. He is the only faithful and trustworthy One. Don’t stop praying for healing and restoration ~ relationships, finances, physical, mental-emotional ~ whatever is on your heart just release it. And live in the assurance that His timing and will are going to reveal at the perfect moment the most spectacular outcome. Jesus will blow your mind!
