I did not expect to hear these words today. And it’s not that I was initially ‘in search’ for a specific topic, but rather, it was another message of confirmation regarding what has been my prayer to the Lord.
Maybe you’ve had experiences where you feel ‘something’ stirring in your soul and you just kinda tuck it in the back of your mind. Not that you dismiss it altogether, but instead you’ve chosen to just not put any immediate energy into exploring the significance. In other words, you postpone giving attention and label it: ‘for another day.’
And then the series of GOD-ordained events begin and you’re noticing a sermon here, a podcast there, a message in front of your eyes … and it’s all pointing to that ‘something’ you’ve filed in the back of your mind. The realization is astounding and leaves you almost shaken with disbelief, but as a Jesus Follower, you know beyond the shadow of doubt it is He Who is speaking through all those other people – to get your attention. You begin to peel back that label and unpack that ‘something.’
Perhaps this is your current situation, Friend. It’s possible that you’ve landed your precious eyes here for that very reason – so that GOD can affirm for you what you’ve been praying about, or what you now need to pray about.
Grab your journal or note-taking device and sit with me for a brief moment. Let this message from Melody Alisa soak in. And then spend some time in prayer. You’ll be glad you did.
