This is what the Lord says:
“Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool. Psalm 102:15a NIV
This is that time of year where my heart reflects on the incredible love and mercy of GOD ~ my Redeemer King. Yes, when He resurrected from the grave, He demonstrated what actually happens to all that ‘stuff’ we go through here on earth: it dies and is buried. But GOD ~ He resuscitates and brings us into a new way of living.
I realize that there are many of us that are going through some really ugly ‘stuff’ right now. And just let me say, I am so, so sorry that you are. I can relate to your pain. I’ve lived through those days of fatigue and frustration, wondering if there was ever going to be any relief.
Coming out of that dark hallway, I can tell you that there is Light at the end. In fact, if you’ll just call out His Name, Jesus has always been there with every step you’ve taken. He will reveal Himself to you if you’re open to seeing Him. You’ve got to start by being willing to open up to Him.
And that’s where your resurrected life will come alive and you will breathe like never before. It’s going to take some time to get used to living in that newness.
Come and just worship as this song bears witness to your soul about the character of Jesus and Who He is. It’s okay to weep, it’s okay to shout, it’s okay to just rock back and forth in silence. He knows the condition of your heart, and that’s all that matters. Because He has restored all the shattered pieces ~ you are made whole in His Presence by the power of His Blood. Just call on Him.
And if your mouth can’t seem to find the words, just speak His Name. That’s good enough.
