Lisa asks us a straight forward question: “What miracle is on the other side of our perseverance?” That’s worth taking the time to investigate and evaluate. Let that sink in for a moment, and I believe that you will find yourself on your knees.
The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
to the soul who seeks him. Lamentations 3:25 ESV
Those of you who know me know that I write a lot about waiting ~ because it’s my life’s challenge. While I can extend patience to the most difficult people in my circle, when it comes to my own issues, I have the tendency to tap my fingers and toes to the cadence of impatience, as if the increasing volume of my incessant tapping could bring about the desired outcome.
Somehow, in my personal vocabulary, the word ‘when’ follows after the word ‘wait.’ And too often in communion with the Lord those words flow out in that same sequence.
Come and listen to this message from Lisa Harper and be blessed by her exhortation of how we can effectively wait for those things that our hearts long for because we serve the Living GOD whose nature includes doing the impossible.
