We just celebrated Pentecost Sunday, which always reminds me not just of the divine and miraculous work of GOD, but of revival of the Church of Christ.
With the great commission and obedience to the precepts of GOD, we (the local church) should be transforming the world and setting it on fire for Jesus Christ. But all of that won’t happen with just good people thinking good thoughts and carrying out good deeds. That’s simply social morality.
GOD’s People have the responsibility to respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit ~ that’s what brings about change. That is what fulfills the great commission to bring the Church to the world ~ not the world to the church.
