Prayer ~ you don’t need a PhD to know how to do it. Prayer ~ you don’t need anyone’s permission to speak it. Prayer ~ you don’t have to know any special language to be able to go there. Prayer ~ being of a certain church circle doesn’t give you special privileges for yours to be heard. Prayer ~ no fancy words or theological degrees needed.
No outward appearance will give you any more leverage or increase your chances of being heard. You need not know any Scriptures to get you started. Just speak and believe you are heard. Because you are.
As a young child, I used to think that GOD was always so busy with world crises and wars and other people’s bigger problems, that I would have to take a number and wait. And if He had time, He would maybe listen to me ~ not even thinking He would act on my behalf.
So, when I learned the truth about GOD wanting to hear straight from me, and that He had all the time I needed with Him … and better yet, I had His undivided attention … I was doing backflips (not literally, but you get my drift). Imagine that, the GOD of the universe, would give me His undivided attention. It doesn’t get any better than that.
23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Mark 11:23 ESV
Take Him at His Word. You have to believe that He hears you and is already working things out for you before you finish your sentence. Pray, Sister … and trust Him for the process. He carves out your path in a way you never would have imagined … and at the end of the day, you’ll be glad He did.
Believe your miracle is on the way. Pray for whatever is on your heart. Trust GOD for the answer (it may not look like yours). Wait with expectant hope for the most awesome outcome (again, it may not be what you thought). Moving mountains just might be in your future.
