19 Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 ESV
Are you waiting with expectant hope for that __________________ (you can fill in the blank with your miracle)? Be confident, Friend, that if you’re asking Jesus for anything according to His Will that it’s on the way.
Waiting develops that patient character that we continue to call on ~ although we don’t want to go through the process of becoming. Let that sit with you for a bit.
I can tell you from my heart that I am not a patient person by nature. While I may appear to be sitting still, my insides are tapping louder than if I were to outwardly tap the floor with my foot. To complicate things, I am more able to ‘wait patiently’ on behalf of others than I am for my own needs. I’ll even sit with you. *smile*
Throughout my lifetime I have learned that Jesus has taught me lesson after lesson and empowered me to become more of the person He intended me to be when I wait on Him to do the heavy lifting. The strength I pray for is to hold on in faithful obedience and to not be distracted by noise or shiny things along the way. And to be honest, when I roll back and let the King have His Way, it all unfolds better than I ever asked for.
So, as I wait on Him in this season, I know that when I sense the ‘shift,’ another miracle is on the way. His timing. His way. His process. His blessing.
It’s possible you needed to hear this song today as much as I did. It’s going to be on replay for me throughout my wait. Feel free to do the same. And as you do, continue to thank Him for preparing you to receive it. Jesus is going to blow your mind!
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
