The distractions of the world combined with the daily stressors can create overwhelming situations. It can be too easy for us to get swept away in a tidal wave of worries. Jesus never intended for His Daughters to live in constant fear over consequences that are unlikely to happen.
Perhaps this is a perfect opportunity to just take a walk with Him or sit with Him and have a conversation about what is on your heart. Everyone carries something ~ it’s that concealed matter we’d rather not speak of or reveal to anyone. We’re protective over it because we don’t want to be judged or scrutinized for it. It could be relational, psychological, physical, financial, familial … you can add to the list.
Quite honestly, Jesus has been there all along, Friend, and has been waiting for you to pause and just open up to Him about it.
Here’s your cue ~ your moment ~ to just be utterly transparent and real honest with Him. Time to peel back all the layers that you’ve tried to camouflage and conceal it. Go ahead. You’ll feel much better and have a tremendous load lifted off of your shoulders.
Imagine you are there with Jesus on the shore and take as much time as you need. It’s just you and He.
