“Do You Have the Courage to Believe GOD?” ~ Christine Caine

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:13 NIV

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3 NIV

Come and listen to this brief but powerful sermon by Christine Caine as she challenges us to examine our ways as they impact and influence not just our own personal lives, but the lives of the generations that will follow behind us.

Those of you that know me well, understand the underlying passion I have for those coming up behind us. It is up to us to remain consistently faithful to be the example of Christ to this vulnerable generation.

I’m not saying that your chronological age necessarily determines your success and victory in overcoming the trials of life. New Believers are equally at risk, regardless of their age. However, my point is that in this present era, there are more influential forces at work than ever before. And we are now at a point where such infiltration has invaded our local churches. No one is immune.

Christine highlights some very important points for us to consider. I would encourage everyone of us to take careful note, as the enemy is working overtime to devour and destroy those who are not standing firm in their faith. We must rise up and trust GOD through every step, even when we can’t feel the ground we’re walking on, or the visibility in front of us stretches no further than our arms can reach.

13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Philippians 2:13 NIV
