In recent days I have had to free fall backwards into the Arms of Jesus ~ literally. And perhaps you are there at this moment. I get you, Sister.
When you feel as though you are pressed up against insurmountable odds … when it seems as though the very walls are closing in on you from both sides … when it feels like a struggle to keep going forward with your head up … when the circumstances around you just won’t let up … and all those wrong voices are telling you lies about your worth, your value, your identity, your purpose … that’s when it’s time to start preaching Scripture out loud to yourself so that your own ears can hear what GOD’s Word says about you.
Let me tell you something that I have learned through this practice of preaching~to~self: it’s a strong reminder to your brain that GOD is above it all, and that your circumstances will always morph into something else in a heartbeat. When your brain grabs hold of that truth, your heart will ultimately follow. You must keep reciting those Scripture verses over and over again, creating a GOD-breathed-neuro-pathway to steer your focus back to His Reality. You will be hitting a serious refresh on your thought process and eventually find yourself reframing all that’s going on in front of you.

GOD’s Word is truth no matter what is swirling around you. Hold firm to your faith and dig your heels deeper into that soil that connects you to the Vine. Let Him take care of all that stuff you’re worried about. There’s nothing you can do about your situation, but He can and has already attended to it. You need to simply trust and wait to see it unfold.
