Lift Your Spirit ~ “Somebody Prayed”

22-25 Jesus was matter-of-fact: “Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, ‘Go jump in the lake’—no shuffling or hemming and hawing—and it’s as good as done. That’s why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you’ll get God’s everything. And when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it’s not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive—only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins.” Mark 11:23 The Message

Amazing things happen when we pray. At the very least, we are drawn closer to the GOD whom we know holds the outcome to whatever it is we are seeking to have Him handle.

I’m not the quickest learner on the planet, so it has taken me many years to begin to grasp that communion with GOD requires my posture of humility. I’ve never been one to kick down doors to get my way, but I must admit, that when approaching the Throne of Grace there’s a remembrance of Who allowed for me to be there. Jesus made that all possible.

Then I must consider the sins that must be confessed before even uttering a word about my hopes and desires. Jesus taught this when He showed His Disciples how to pray.

Above all, it’s not about me ~ it never was. And it’s not about you either, Friend. It’s about Him. His Will ~ that’s what we are praying for. That His Will be done and for our hearts and minds to be in alignment with that. We ask for His desires to become ours.

And that’s when we see those mountains move.

Come join me for a worshipful praise break, right here, right now. Then pour out your heart and let the King of kings fill your heart with peace and contentment ~ as He moves with you throughout your day.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
