“GOD Is A Safe Place For You” ~ Beth Moore

How joyful is the one
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered!
How joyful is a person whom
the Lord does not charge with iniquity
and in whose spirit is no deceit!

When I kept silent, my bones became brittle
from my groaning all day long.
For day and night your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was drained
as in the summer’s heat. Selah
Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not conceal my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

Therefore let everyone who is faithful pray to you immediately.
When great floodwaters come,
they will not reach him.
You are my hiding place;
you protect me from trouble.
You surround me with joyful shouts of deliverance. Selah

I will instruct you and show you the way to go;
with my eye on you, I will give counsel.
Do not be like a horse or mule,
without understanding,
that must be controlled with bit and bridle
or else it will not come near you.

10 Many pains come to the wicked,
but the one who trusts in the Lord
will have faithful love surrounding him.
11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice,
you righteous ones;
shout for joy,
all you upright in heart. Psalm 32 CSB

10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
the righteous run to it and are protected. Proverbs 18:10 CSB

It’s no secret that we are living in some pretty scary times. I know that with every passing generation, those who are fortunate enough to be able to recall and reminisce about times gone by and warn us about how harmful poor decisions can be, the call to straighten up and make wise choices gets louder.

And in typical fashion, we shrug off and put the palm upright in the face of the alarm ~ crying out to us to take heed. Generation after generation … we are no different from those who have gone before us. As if we practice this rite of passage, we walk away with our fingers in our ears ~ because we “know better.” Not.

Quite honestly, I’ve learned from looking back at how I have done this in my younger years. Red~faced, I sit here typing these words for you to see, but I with my heart I call out to. you: humility is the key to wisdom and peace.

Humbleness of heart and spirit allow for us to be teachable.

Come and be taught, Friend. Join me as Beth Moore shares straight from the Word of GOD. She will point you to Him ~ because He is where we will find peace. He is where we will find wisdom. We have to come to our senses and recognize that we can’t live this life on our own strength. And here’s a known truth: GOD offers Himself to be your strength.

Come and hide yourself in the Shadow of His Wings. Let Him be your hiding place.

Grab your Bible, something to take notes, a warm drink and dive in. It is my prayer that this will ignite a passionate desire in you to intentionally make a shift and run to GOD with all your might.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
