Sometimes you just need a straight forward reminder that GOD Almighty is still in control.
It’s too easy to get pulled into the busyness of the day, the worries and concerns of attempted projects, failed projects, or paralyzed projects. When we take our eyes off of Jesus and focus on the circumstances ~ the periphery of our now ~ we can get caught in a whirlwind of thoughts that take us down a trail of tangled messes.
And yes, it’s downright hard to escape when you’re entertaining all the sidelines of what could be or what you wished it could be. But Jesus always makes a way for us to dig our heels deep into the soil of our faith. GOD is still on the Throne and has no intention of leaving.
If your week was filled with objections and conflict, you’re in good company. It’s likely that a few other Sisters reading this could tell you about their hand-to-hand combat battles, too.

There is only one Constant in this world, and that is GOD Himself. He never changes. He is the one guarantee there is. And knowing that should cause us to rise to our feet without hesitation to face our greatest fears.
