27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:37 ESV
28 For kingship belongs to the Lord,
and he rules over the nations. Psalm 22:28 ESV17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17 ESV
21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man,

GOD. Is. In. Control. Always has been and will always be ~ in total control.
You would think that reading those words a bazillion times over that by now we would walk as though we believed it. And yet, here we are, just another day later, still perplexed and worried over our issues (aka circumstances that will look different tomorrow). Why do we wrestle with settling into the confidence of GOD’s word?
Perhaps it’s because He is GOD and we are not. And to admit that our determination cannot make one micrometer of a difference is a hard pill to swallow (could that be pride causing the pill to lodge in our throats?).
9 remember the former things of old;
for I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me, Isaiah 46:9 ESV
Trusting GOD in the waiting (room), in the waiting (season) … requires that we surrender to His will in the process and believe that whatever the outcome, He makes all things work together for our good ~ because He is Good.
Join me for a praise break, Sister, and drop the remote control of your life (it never made a difference anyway) and turn loose the longings of your heart, cry with me, rejoice with me, and let’s continue to believe GOD for miracles as we wait. They still happen.
I love you the Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
