33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
As in all the churches of the saints, 1 Corinthians 14:33 ESV
Oh, I know what led me straight to this podcast ~ the prayer that sounded like: “GOD help me to decompress and deal only with what is in front of me, so that I can keep chipping away at what is stacked up behind it.”
Do you have a million thoughts dancing around in your brain? Sometimes my mind can be so full of this ‘n’ that, that I begin to forget why I entered the room, what I was intending to retrieve from that closet, what I was looking for in the trunk of my car … and on and on.
The not-so-necessary (all those item C-D-E tasks) start to overcrowd the really important things (those A-B-C ticket items), and we drown in the muddy mess of it all. We can’t even reach up for the lifesaver because our hands are gripping onto lower priority projects.
Mental Clutter is a pile up of thoughts. It’s your worries, emotions, regrets, “shoulds,” and “what-ifs” circling around in your head. ~ Chrystal Evans Hurst
Come and join me for this very important message from Chrystal. She puts it in front of you in her usual straight-forward-no-nonsense Chrystal style … always laced with love and compassion from a woman who is going (present tense) through the same issues.
I love how this informative podcast provides the Scripture, the insight, the relevance for our human lives as GOD would have us deal with it. We’re all a work in progress. So, don’t beat yourself up if you have to keep hitting the restart button to get the hard work done.
Let’s do this together as a community of women who have platters (not merely full plates) that are stacked in our hands, and thoughts piling up and taking up space in our head. Our Heavenly Father doesn’t want us to live a life of being overwhelmed. He wants us to experience His Peace.
If you’re ready to make a positive change that will impact everything else you do, roll up your sleeves, Sister, and let’s get in there!
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
