I ‘stumbled‘ on this podcast ~ that’s my version. GOD’s version is: “I intended for you to hear this from Me.”
It’s no secret that we live in a world that makes us feel as though we are always less than, not good enough, way behind, and devalued. The lies of the enemy do that. And it’s time to stop the cycle.
We compare someone else’s strengths to our weaknesses and feel like we’ll never catch up (or catch our breath). Let’s not forget that everyone else also has weaknesses that we’re not seeing (they’re thinking the same thing when they see us).
We admire other people’s accomplishments but fail to see how long it took them to get there ~ all we see (with our green eyes) is the end product.
The point is that we are all created in GOD’s image with unique qualities, gifts, talents, and traits that were designed to be used only by us in the perfect season for them to be used.
Whose timing are we insisting on living by? It’s time we come to our senses and surrender to the One Who created time itself and holds it all in His Hands. Surrendering our insisting will and demands for specific days, weeks, and dates will free us from the headaches and heartaches of deadline disappointment (and for some of us, present disappointment).
Our delay is not GOD’s denial. (Thank you for that, Chrystal!) Let that sit with you. It may feel very disappointing, but don’t allow that to distract you.
Keep believing. Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep hope alive.
