I must admit that there have been times in my Christian walk that I’ve felt, well, out of place and kinda awkward. Times when it seems like the world just doesn’t get me.
You, too?
Sweet Friend, you know what the Lord has taught me about those awkward moments? They’re reminders to us that we should feel out of place because we are not meant to be part of this world and comfy. If we are Christ followers, our hearts are turned towards Heaven.
This temporary place … this life on earth … is not our final destination. We are citizens of Heaven. We should be homesick.
We don’t fit in because we are not of this world. Our very nature has been transformed and continues to grow into the person we were designed to be.
