Lift Your Spirit ~ “A Lil’ Church (Nobody’s Too Lost)”

4-5 Just as there are many parts to our bodies, so it is with Christ’s body. We are all parts of it, and it takes every one of us to make it complete, for we each have different work to do. So we belong to each other, and each needs all the others. Romans 12:4-5 TLB

27 Now here is what I am trying to say: All of you together are the one body of Christ, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it. 1 Corinthians 12:27 TLB

And now you have become living building-stones for God’s use in building his house. What’s more, you are his holy priests; so come to him—you who are acceptable to him because of Jesus Christ[a]—and offer to God those things that please him. 1 Peter 2:5 TLB

Let’s face it: we have all kinds of friends, but there are times when only your sister~in~Christ is the only one who can relate to what you’re going through. She knows how to pray with and for you, because she intimately knows the One Who is hearing all those prayers and seeing all those tears flow. In fact, she is confident that He has answered those prayers long before they were spoken.

If you’re like me, there are days when you need the comfort and encouragement of your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to get you through ~ just no one else will do to satisfy that “spot” in your spirit. Can you relate?

I’ve had such “lights” illuminate my dark space without them knowing it … even speak words of life that they didn’t know I needed to hear … but because they heard the still small voice of the One Who nudged them in my direction, their obedience started the healing process for me.

Perhaps you are in need right now to have a lil’ church right now. If that’s you, call or text somebody who is part of The Body (of Christ) and let them know. Go on and have that church in your corner with them, whether it’s in your living room, in the coffee shop, in the parking lot of your favorite store … go on, Sister, and just let the Holy Spirit lead you.

15 Let the peace of heart that comes from Christ be always present in your hearts and lives, for this is your responsibility and privilege as members of his body. And always be thankful. Colossians 3:15 TLB
