“God’s Strength Will Carry You” ~ Better Together on TBN

But he told me: “My kindness  is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” So I will brag even more about my weaknesses in order that Christ’s power will live in me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 GWT

How many times have we asked GOD to show up in our hot messes? If you’re like me, I’d have to say at least a bazillion times.

And not that it’s a bad thing, or that the Lord views us as bothersome. In fact, Friend, He wants us to call on His Name when we’re hurting.

But let’s think about how this relationship starts to look a bit lopsided, when we’re only calling on Him to fix our messes or rescue us, and all the other times we’re off on our own tangent skipping through life … until the next mess.

Jesus is as close as our next breath, and yet we too often take that for granted until we feel that we’ve lost control of our circumstances.

His desire for us is to see us grow and go to become more like the women we were designed to be from the start. That usually means that there are lessons to learn and difficulties to live through in order to see and experience His presence and His power moving in and through us. And to become stronger women of faith.

When we call upon His Name, it’s our opportunity to grab hold of the truth of Who He really is. That revelation~in~the~moment (I call it) is golden. That’s the nugget we’re going to treasure long beyond the ordeal. Because in that breath, His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

Most of us would be too ashamed to publicly share our worst moments or upside down seasons of life. In this conversation among friends, the walls come down and allow you to step into their space. Perhaps, maybe even to teach us how to live more vulnerably with GOD and others so that healing can begin.

Healing rarely takes place in isolation. Let that sit with you for a bit.

Join me for a bit and listen to this transparent discussion. I pray that it will set you on your journey to experiencing the love that GOD has for you, and that He truly wants to lighten your load.

28 “Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. 29 Place my yoke  over your shoulders, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble. Then you will find rest for yourselves 30 because my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-29 GWT
