This lil’ beauty is in my yard … what, you don’t consider her a BEAUTY? Oddly enough she hold great POTENTIAL …
Psalm 18:30 God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
Believe it or not, in a very short time this peculiar creation will BLOOM and emit the most awesome scent on the planet. And ONLY God could have designed and created such a wonder. But there is a waiting period …
She endures the HEAT of summer while she continues to grow ~~ in fact, it is in that heat that she develops and proves true to her Creator’s blueprint for her life. Notice that she remains within a community of likeminded ones, all awaiting their own debut. Take note also, her appearance is unique and unlike any other in her garden environment. Some see her as odd, different, and maybe even outwardly unattractive ~~ but she continues to thrive and grow in spite of opinions.
Her life’s goal: to give beauty to those who encounter her and leave behind a scent that cannot be replicated … to add to her surroundings without being obtrusive or forceful … to simply bloom and live out her purpose, whether it be to adorn a table or one’s hair … to make a sweet statement and testimony of her Creator.
And when she does, the declaration is unmatched by any other … just as each one coming up behind her makes her stunning debut … she boldly displays Who fashioned her before she even existed as a bud.
Only God …
Could see our potential, Girlfriend, yours and mine … even through the heat … for in that heat He is developing the most indescribable beauty yet to grace the presence of the world.
And it all begins with a Promise … His Promise … for us His Beloved CHOSEN Ones.
I pray that you’ll believe and bloom, Girlfriend ~~ in the midst of the heat, whatever your situation is at this very moment ~~ trust in His Promises to bring you through.
Allow me to leave you with these encouraging words … they spoke life into me this morning …
Psalm 18:25-36 To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity. To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd. You rescue the humble, but you humiliate the proud. You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness. In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights. He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow. You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping.
While we struggle to keep our promises, He is faithful to fulfill ALL that concerns YOU.
