The dictionary defines ‘worthy‘ as to possess value and importance, deserving of praise; to be of commendable excellence or merit. What do you say of Him? Is He worthy?
We are talking about the Creator GOD Almighty. To be in the presence of the Living GOD just seems so unimaginable. Casting crowns at His Feet just doesn’t even sound enough of a tribute. And yet, this all powerful GOD calls us to be His Children — it takes my breath away just to think about it.
Quiet your spirit for a moment and just soak that in, Sister.
He calls us to come near to Him. Our sins are washed away because He provided Himself through Jesus Christ His Son as the perfect sacrifice to atone for us. And no matter how much we mess up (and we will until our last breath) He sees us as His Own because we’ve been redeemed.
Hard to comprehend, Sister, that the One Who is truly Worthy would call me — the most unworthy of all — to come near.
And we are lavishly loved over and over and over and over again.
We are deeply loved by a Holy GOD. I can’t hardly wrap my tiny brain around that. So I’ll have to trust GOD for its truth.
Inhale the blessings that are yours this day because you belong to Him.
