The Lord is my Shepherd …
How many times have we read Psalm 23 and skated through those words … because we’d become so accustomed to them, but have failed to pull them in and make them our declaration of relationship to our Shepherd?
The endearing love of GOD as our Shepherd … it should drop us to our knees when we ponder the vast and infinite devotion He has towards us … even when we wander off on some trail that caught our eyes.
He gently pulls us in. Willing to stop everything to come after us until we have been restored and reunited with Him.
Takes my breath away.
It is my prayer, Friend, that you can join in and say, “He is my comfort, I am not alone,” and believe those words. Because if you know Christ as your personal Shepherd, you have the reassurance that your travels along this journey called life are not experienced in solitude.
Allow this song to take you there, Friend, to a moment in time when you realized that GOD is everything to you and more.
