If you live in the United States of America and you woke up to read this in peace, praise GOD for those who tireless work round the clock to ensure your safety.
It’s Veteran’s Day here in this country and we pray for and salute all who have pledged to give their lives in service to the protection of its citizens. So many have gone before us and paid for our freedom with their lives; to them, we offer endless gratitude.
Will you take the time to pause for Thirty Seconds today to whisper a prayer of praise and thanksgiving for the brave and courageous men and women that have served and for those who are presently serving in this manner? They are literally giving of this season in their life and in the lives of their family members so that you and I can remain safe from external threat.
“Gracious and Heavenly Father, You know those that are Yours and they hear Your Voice. As we now lift up the men and women who have committed their life’s work to securing the safety of their country, we thank You, Lord, for giving them the courage to follow their calling. Not all are chosen for such a task. So, we praise You, Lord, for choosing those whom You have and we ask You to please keep them safe and sane. Protect them from danger and potential harm. Provide for their families and loved ones who depend upon them. Shield them with Your Mercy and Grace all the days of their lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
