If you’re anything like me, I thrive on consistency. I need to know that I know that I can depend on things to be in their place, that the people I call my Tribe are there to join me in prayer for an ugly face cry session, that my coffee pods supply will last til the next grocery store run, that my shoes are exactly where I left them.
That my GOD is changeless. Faithful. Trustworthy.
I count on my Father GOD to open my eyes and give me that morning first breath if He wants me to live out this next day. I depend on His Mercies to pour over me fresh every morning and for Him to take me wherever He has already ordained for me to set my feet. I rely on His Wisdom to make decisions for what to make for meals, what to pull out of my closet to wear and what words to share with a friend who is going through a rough season.
My track-record with GOD Almighty is written in ink. There are no regrets in His decisions over me, although I may have remorse over my behavior in the midst of them. He never abandoned me to my own devices even when I fought so hard to be right — in my own might. His Presence has always been right here. And you know what they say — think twice before using the words, always and never.
But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you. 1 Samuel 12:24 NLT
GOD is a Man of His Word. He is the only One Who can say that without reservation. What He says He will do, He does — and with Perfection. He is able to do for you and me — that which concerns us, for the season we are in, supplying the resources that we need. He is far more than able. He is willing. And He loves us through it all in spite of our attitude and actions.
I need that kind of reassurance that no matter how I mess up a perfectly good situation, GOD will make it all good.
We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan. Romans 8:28 Voice
