Get ready to get up on your feet and praise!
This is one of those songs that will stick with you throughout the day, my Friend. It’s almost a straight-up declaration of faith.
Plain and simple: God really loves us. Nothing else needs to be added to that. And as if there were no satisfying ‘punctuation’ to the end of that statement, I like to believe that there’s a ‘colon’ there that points to Jesus — now, He is the One that puts the period at the end of the sentence; because He is the beginning and the end of all things. When He said, “It is finished,” that sealed it.
