Trusting in the process. Faithful through the process. “Easier said than done,” you may say. And I will agree. Yet, I will go so far as to add that the decision to go there … is so, so worth it.
Our human will is one of those things that we actually have control over. Free will, in fact. Choice. The privilege to choose one way or another.
Circumstances will ebb and flow. Life has its ups and downs — and sometimes it feels as though there are more downs than ups.
Suppose we take just a few seconds here to pause and step back so we can have a better view of those circumstances. If we just detach a bit from the emotional bungee cords that keep pulling us in, perhaps we can experience a perspective that we never knew existed.
I call it the aerial view. Like a drone flying overhead, we can see what is in the surrounding areas from ground zero. For me, it gives me a greater sense of what is really going on, apart from my attachment in emotional distress and mental anguish over the mess now in progress.
Could it be that Jesus has this aerial view?
His Ways are higher than ours. His Thoughts are not our thoughts.
The Lord says, “My thoughts are not like your thoughts.
Your ways are not like my ways. Isaiah 55:8 NCV
What if we did make the choice to trust Him for the process and to walk with us through the process? We have Him at His Word that He would never leave or forsake us. So His Promise to remain with us is given.
Quite honestly, I believe that this is the stuff faith is made of: having that assurance of things unseen, because we have the Hope within us — Jesus.
Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it. Hebrews 11:1 NCV
I invite you to trust GOD for the process and to be with you in the process (no matter what that looks like for you at this moment). You have His Word on it, He won’t leave you in the middle of it. Ever.
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~~
