Decisions, decisions, decisions. Life is full of them but the critical one determines your eternal life. There is no gray area. There is no compromise. No room for a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Resolute. One clear determined and applied answer.
15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Revelation 3:15-16 NIV
While we still have breath in our lungs, we have the opportunity to change the decision — if we feel we need to. There is no guarantee that any of us will arise tomorrow to see that new day, so the question remains: “Have you secured your eternal soul?”
“Have you made the right decision?
Sometimes that decision comes with a price that costs us relationships, jobs, community, status … all of which must be weighed against our soul on the scales. And if any of these mean more to you than (eternal) life itself, then you’ve already made your decision.
You might say, “I’ve not made up my mind.” However, your silence or refusal to commit is every bit your answer.
