Lift Your Spirit

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 ESV

16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. James 5:16 Amplified

Have you ever questioned yourself … or perhaps, it was actually questioning GOD … although we really don’t want to admit that, because it sounds, well, “unchristian-like” … but maybe you’ve had those thoughts …

When things didn’t go quite as planned … okay let’s be real … they just didn’t happen.

And you started walking down that road of doubt. You had those inner conversations with yourself that may have sounded like this: “Maybe I didn’t hear Him right. Could I have just been wanting something so badly that I misunderstood GOD?” And you continued to entertain those thoughts as you strolled down that long and winding road paved with fear, anxiety, worry.

As Christ Followers, we know that GOD has a plan for each one of us. And He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. In fact, the presence of the Holy Spirit within us is evidence that He is always with us throughout our lives, in and out of every moment.

And yet, at the slightest crack in our faith, we can be rattled and shaken to the core.

When GOD has spoken into your life — and He does that as uniquely as we are created — there’s no denying what will transpire. His Word is true and never returns void. Even when we don’t see it coming. When we think He’s put us on the back burner. GOD is always at work — whether we see Him in the front row or He is divinely orchestrating from behind the scenes.

He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:3-4 NIV

We have to hold on, Friend. The details of the when and where — that’s HIS business. Our responsibility is to believe however He rolls things out for us, that it’s the BEST. Period. We may scratch our heads over the final outcome — because it always supersedes our wildest dreams. But I believe GOD loves to surprise His Children with those mind-blowing moments so that He can take joy in watching us be filled with His Joy.

Keep on praying. Don’t give up. Always believe He’s got something spectacular for you. Because He does.

Then be sure to tell someone all about it.

31 but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 NIV

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~~
