GOD loves us so much that He will go to the ends of the earth to show us that His heart desires to have us in relationship with Him. And often that translates to allowing us to experience difficult seasons in life.
Those mountains and deserts … those gut-wrenching, heartbreaking, tornadoes of life where we finally cry out, “GOD I need you!” Those are the sacred places, Friend, where we drop all walls and defenses (if we’re humble and sincere) and surrender.
In His mercy, He permits those tough times to unfold so that we would experience the overwhelming power of His love when we eventually come to our senses, stop running away and turn around to run towards Him.
Yes, sometimes it does take a mountain to convince our heart that we can only be satisfied by Him.
Let this song speak life into your soul today. No matter what you are facing at this very moment, please know that you are loved by the Father and He is right there with you through it. It is possible to walk through it with Him.
