Lift Your Spirit – “Lean on the Lord”

I will be the first one to admit that life doesn’t always make sense. And honestly, Sister, my admission comes after years and years and years of head-scratching, brow-lifting, head-tilting, question-mark-writing … only to have the veils of my eyes peeled back to see the wonder of GOD’s amazing grace.

Those upside down and running sideways moments (that seem to last an eternity while we’re living in them) can leave us terribly disappointed and devastated if we have no hope.

Hope is a Person. Hope has a Name. Hope is Jesus Christ.

Trust in the Lord and do good.
Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires.

Commit everything you do to the Lord.
Trust him, and he will help you.
He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn,
and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.

Be still in the presence of the Lord,
and wait patiently for him to act.
Don’t worry about evil people who prosper
    or fret about their wicked
schemes. Psalm 37:3-7 NLT

And after the countless lessons I’ve learned, I can honestly say to you with all my heart, “Trust Him — He won’t disappoint.”

Let’s be real here, Friend. You know that feeling when you’ve tried with all your might … to fix, repair, mend, resolve, recreate, reinvent, restore, glue back … the fractured pieces of your life only to have them either not stick or to fall apart the moment you turned your head.

Jesus will do better than glue it all back together. He will make all things new. He does that. Only He can do that.

Sit with the Savior of your soul today and let Him minister to you. Let your ears be willing to hear His Voice. He loves you so much that He is calling you out.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
