But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. John 14:26 ESV
The Holy Spirit is a Person. He is the third Person of the Holy Trinity. Do you know Him?
Years ago, I mistakenly spoke of Him as an ‘it.’ And as I recall, many people did likewise — that’s why we didn’t experience His Presence as we could have. The second chapter of the Book of Acts describes some pretty phenomenal manifestations of His Presence.
And as I have walked my imperfect journey with GOD, He has revealed to me through His Word the fault in me during those times of wrongful believing. Believing that GOD only moved through His People that way only for them in that day. Curiosity in me asked, “How could this be limited to only then?” So, naturally, I followed up with, “Why not now?”
Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 Amplified
So, I did. And He most certainly opened and gave. And continues to keep giving.
I challenge you today to ask, seek and knock. Don’t just take someone else’s word and make it your belief. Ask GOD Himself to show you the truth. He’s big enough to pour out the most amazing things — beyond our wildest imagination. Have your own declaration of faith and personal experience of the Holy Spirit in your life — in you, Sweet Friend.
And when He shows up, be ready to listen and respond. If you will ask, He will definitely answer.
