Dependency. In this current culture, that word can have both positive an negative connotations. If you’re a single mom, you know the responsibility of raising your children because they are depending upon you. As head of a household, your wages are depended upon for the sustenance of your family. Caring for elderly parents or family members, you are fully aware of the weight of decisions and their dependency upon your care for their lives.

GOD never intended us to be independent of Him. Contrary to popular belief about “self-made success” and the so-called freedoms that the world attributes to that, we were never designed to live life solo.

And I’m going to admit to you that it has taken me a lifetime of coming to this realization.

GOD is such a Good Father, that He says He will provide everything we need (and extra surprises) and nothing could be better. I don’t know about you, Friend, but I’ve made enough blunders in my life to know that when I surrender to Him, I cannot go wrong. Not one regret.

The key is allowing Him to have that control to flow through me (as CeCe says) — free reign in my life.

There’s a lot packed into this brief conversation among these women. I’ve hit the replay more times than I can count. Let these words of wisdom from Wisdom Himself sink in, take root and challenge you today. I believe we all have something to gain.
