Lift Your Spirit – “Trust in God”

for we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV

For the Christ Follower, this praise song resonates with the anthem of our hearts. We came to personally trust GOD. If we’re totally honest, for some of us that was no easy journey. Whether it was years of trying to walk as far away from the Lord as we thought we could, or just a few moments of dialogue with a trusted friend that gently showed us the Way. There was that critical moment where we were faced with the life-changing decision to surrender.

I’ll go so far as to say that once we took that first step of faith towards the GOD Whom we once ran away from, the track record with Him in our lives began. Or rather, our eyes were opened to the record of His faithfulness towards us — even when we refused to look up towards Him. Friend, if you know Him, not just about Him, you understand what I’m talking about.

That backstory that we wish we could hide in a trunk and bury deep into the earth, is our testimony of His Love, Grace and Mercy. We all have one. And your story is worth sharing.

If you don’t have the confidence to say “He will never fail me or abandon me,” then please, take heart and ask a trusted Believing Friend in Jesus to walk this with you.

I heard a few encouraging words by author, Alexandra Hoover, who said when you meet someone who feels that they don’t have enough faith to trust Jesus, say to them, “Here, borrow some of mine.” I love this!

So, I say to you: “Do you trust GOD?” If you don’t have the full confidence to shout out, “YES!”, then here, Sweet Friend, borrow some of mine. I guarantee He will never fail you.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
