How has your week gone, Friend? Good? Bad? Little bit of both? I can relate on all sides.
These recent days have risen and fallen, and sometimes simultaneously in the same twenty-four hours. How is this possible?
Reminds me of a rollercoaster ride (the Incredibles at Disneyland, to be exact). One moment you’re bracing for that drop, only to be whipped backwards and turned sideways and ooooohhhhh … not enough breath in you to scream!
The lesson I’m learning from all this unpredictable activity is that the One constant is Jesus. And if I’m holding on tightly to His Hand, I know He won’t let me go, no matter how much I get tossed around.
I’m still in the throes of hills and valleys (the week ain’t over yet), but I wanted to share this song with you because it’s a firm reminder that we still have something to sing about ~ if we have Jesus, we still have joy.
Even when my day is inside out and upside down, I’m still redeemed. And so are you. If I’m striking up more mistakes, I am not defined by my lack of perfection or unaccomplished goals. I am defined by the King of kings. And so are you.
So, join me, Sister! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so! We have one Savior, and He is in full control. Get on your feet and dance off that dusty mess ~ your soul could use some of this right about now.
