He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Isaiah 53:3 NIVThough my father and mother forsake me,
the Lord will receive me. Psalm 27:10 NIV
Okay, I know that we’ve all experienced rejection in some shape or form. So, without me asking “if” you’ve ever had an encounter, I want to ask you: “How did you respond?”
Maybe you’re still reeling from the aftermath of a recent episode. I get you. It’s hard, it’s ugly, it’s inconvenience, it’s awkward, it’s embarrassing, it’s all the things.
What Chrystal wants you to come to terms with is the fact that you aren’t meant to remain there. Perhaps this is your wake up call to move, Girlfriend.
“Your worth isn’t tied to who accepts or rejects you. You are chosen by GOD.” ~ Chrystal Evans Hurst
We know that Jesus our Redeemer King was rejected in ways beyond imagination. The very people who said they were seeking GOD were pushing Him away when He was in their presence.
Come and listen to this very eye-opening podcast from Chrystal. She delivers it to you straight, and always points us to Jesus as the final word. Like fresh brewed coffee, it’s strong and powerful. But unlike coffee, you will be motivated to move forward in love, grace, and strength found only in Christ (without the caffeine).
Bring that cup o’ Joe and sit for a bit. You’ll be glad you did.
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
