I’m sure if you heard that the word on the street is that our present culture is in a mental health pandemic it would not surprise you.

And I say that with much compassion because it’s fairly common for us to have those ‘coffee cup counseling sessions’ with our girlfriends. There is some validity to the the fact that friendship is much like therapy (only way cheaper).

The best place to start is at the beginning. After the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, GOD started a conversation with His image bearer. It went something like this:

But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” Genesis 3:9 ESV

Just as when we can detect that someone close to us is out of alignment, that they have need to be transparent, this opening statement is the opportunity for restoration to begin. Perhaps this is that moment.
