Lift Your Spirit ~ “Feet of Jesus”

Lord, you are mine!
    I promise to obey your words! Psalm 119:57 NLT

I say to myself, “The Lord is my God,
    and I trust him.” Lamentations 3:24 ERV

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,
The power and the glory,
The victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,
And You are exalted as head over all. 1 Chronicles 29:11 NKJV

When I can’t seem to find the right words to lace into a prayer, I think of king David and the Psalms.

Sometimes you just need a praise song that says it all for you. Perhaps this song will help.

King David would meditate on the goodness of GOD out in the open shepherd fields, on the battlefields, and when he felt like the world was caving in on him. Yes, David always found a reason to be thankful even in the worse situations.

What I appreciate most about the Psalms that king David penned and sung was that he was so transparent with GOD. In a single breath he would express heartache, frustration, anger towards the enemies of GOD, sorrow, and still exhale gratitude with a posture of humility.

This song that I share with you today brings me to that place of humble thankfulness for all that the Lord Jesus has done, is doing, and will continue to do.

When I find myself asking “why,” or becoming antsy because I’m impatient, I remind myself that it’s already taken care of ~ whatever it is (in that moment). I’ve learned to preach to myself that all that I could ever need is found at the Feet of Jesus.

There’s nothing that He hasn’t thought of that you or I might need that hasn’t been reserved for its time of reveal.

He just wants to spend time with you to hear all about what’s on your ♥️. Bring it to Him now, Sister. You won’t be the same when you leave. Take your time and unpack, using the words that flow from your unique personality and with your voice. He loves the sound of your voice!

And just leave it all there with Him. Everything that you’re searching for … you’ll find in Him.

I’ll be praying for you.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
