It doesn’t take much effort to see that we live in a world filled with uncertainty.
And with that, many of us respond with fear and panic. Worried about what could possibly happen from one moment to the next can be paralyzing ~ when you don’t have the confidence found in the truth.
The truth of the matter is that while we may be surrounded by chaos swirling around us, we don’t have to invite chaos to reside within us.
We can choose to believe in the one true GOD that is in full control of all things seen and unseen. THAT is where we can confidently exhale and sleep at night.
If you consciously and willingly seek to know Him ~ really want to get to know Him ~ then my Friend, you will be able to receive the peace that your relationship with Him freely gives you. Yes, simply being in the family of GOD allows you to be blessed and showered with a peace that cannot be found elsewhere. Even in the midst of hard times.
Maybe you’ve been scrolling through all the recent news reels and listening to the reports on this incident and that battlefield … and you’re losing sleep over what comes next.
Perhaps you’ve got issues in your own home that are so upside down and inside out that you can barely recall what normal feels like.
This could be your turning moment, Friend. And you have GOD at His word that He’ll meet you right where you are, you don’t even have to enter a church building to connect with Him. No fancy prayers to recite, no Scripture verses to memorize before you’re welcomed, no routines or required classes to complete.
Come … as you are … bruised and beaten up … messed up … confused … just come.
Bring whatever is weighing you down and leave it there, right at His Feet. He’s not going to judge or condemn you for what you’ve done, where you’ve been, who you’ve been with. You won’t be criticized, poked at, rejected, or left there.
GOD wants to scoop you up into His Arms and embrace you. Seriously.
He’s already aware of what you’ve been too ashamed to speak of, and He doesn’t hold it against you. He’s been waiting to hear from you since it all happened. He was there when everything went down.
He sees the wounds and scars that are invisible to the rest of the world and He wants you to let Him heal them.
GOD is not taken by surprise at what you feel makes you unforgivable, unloveable, unwanted, or uninvited. He’s bigger than your biggest and worst problem(s). That’s why He is GOD.
