It’s my prayer for you, Sweet Friend, that you know the One Who wants to carry your load ~ because you were never meant to do life alone.
I’m not talking about being swallowed up in a crowd of people who will rally around you when times are hard and challenging, while although that is what GOD’s people will do.
Rather, I’m talking about the true source of your breath and life. It is HE Who lovingly looks at you with deep compassion and desires to have a close relationship with you.
Let’s just be fully honest here. You can have the best day ever today, and then tomorrow wake up to a ginormous disaster that shatters your world. Will your next step be taken in fear or trust that no matter what you face, Someone greater than you is in total control and has your best interest at heart?
Life as a Christ Follower doesn’t grant us perfect days with no hiccups. In fact, we often seem to encounter more challenges and hard times after making the decision to do life with Jesus, simply because we are going against popular culture or societal norms.
However, Christians know the One Who is mightier than all the chaos we could possibly get hit with. So, it is with confident trust that we surrender our worries to Him Who is able to handle it all. We don’t have to make sense of what is happening to believe that GOD is in full control.
If you’re wrestling with some really hard stuff right now, Friend, I pray that you’ll take a moment ~ right where you are ~ to silence your soul and bring it to GOD. Tell Him what’s hurting your heart. Let Him hear your voice speak the words describing the disappointment and heartbreak you’re experiencing. Don’t edit or search for fancy words. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in this moment and watch for it as you move through your day (remembering what you’ve said).
Be looking for your miracle … it’s on the way!
