Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 NLT
Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have. God has said,
“I will never leave you;
I will never abandon you.” Hebrews 13:5 NCV
6 Be strong and be brave. Don’t be afraid of those people because the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you or leave you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 ERV
The very essence of GOD’s character is LOVE.
His nature is to want His Children to be in close relationship with Him.
Perhaps this is a call for you to pause and reflect on where that relationship is with you and He.
When in the Garden of Eden after Adam and Eve had sinned, GOD called out to Adam, “Where are you?”
It’s not that GOD didn’t know where the couple had wandered off to. It was GOD calling Adam out from hiding and asking, “Where is your heart?” Clearly, the relationship was fractured.
GOD is closer than our next breath. He is all around us ~ His Presence can either excite us or frighten us ~ depending upon our relationship with Him.
When you know the Lover of your soul, you begin to get a glimpse of what real love is. It knows no limit. It persists in the face of adversity.
If you’re relationship with GOD is in need of building or repair, or you don’t know where to even begin, this is your moment to start. Don’t worry, there aren’t any rules or rituals.
Just call out the Name of Jesus and let His Presence bring you the peace you didn’t know you were missing.
Soon you will find yourself wanting more and more of His Presence because of what happens to you every time you sit in it with Him.
It is my prayer that you’ll quiet yourself and just let Him do the rest.
Then (re)commit to spending regular time with Him, find a community of other Christ Followers at your local church, and learn more about Who He is and who you are in Him.
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
