“O Lord, there is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you! 1 Chronicles 17:20 NLT
Lord, there is no one like you.
You are great;
your name is great in power. Jeremiah 10:6 CSB“Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like you, majestic in holiness,
awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders? Exodus 15:11 ESV
When you know, you know.
If you don’t know ~ if you haven’t had an experiential encounter with the living GOD ~ then you may be wondering how you can.
It’s actually quite simple, Friend. Just ask.
GOD will reveal Himself to you if you have a sincere curious heart. He will meet you where you are, too. No need to go through any prescribed process or steps to complete before you meet up with Him. In fact, He wants you just as you are in the moment (no matter how grimy or messy you may be).
This praise song is one that is declarative of how the Believer feels about the Sovereign Lord.
For those of us who know how we used to be, there’s a lot to celebrate now being a new creation. Make no mistake, when you come to Jesus, you’re a different person in the next breath. Your circumstances may still remain, but you ~ YOU ~ are on the road to a transformation you didn’t see coming.
And that is what this song celebrates.
The acknowledgement that a divine and holy GOD ~ He who formed the universe and all contained within it and beyond ~ He who controls all things, at all times ~ made a way for us to have a personal relationship with Him.
Clearly, there is none like Him.
Come and break for a moment of gratitude and worship.
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
